CONTINUING EDUCATION AND DEVELOPMENT
WHY: To support KUSC coaches who plan to attain a higher certification at the Provincial level
WHAT TO EXPECT: The mentorship program covers 16-21
hours of instruction. Throughout the program coaches will be asked to
attend both classroom and field components and MUST attend minimum 80%
of the program. All coaches will be given both verbal and written
feedback. Verbal will be in the form of group and individual feedback.
PROGRAM CONTENT: Coaching Methodology, Principles of
Play, Laws of the Game, on-field sessions - technical, functional and
small-sided game, self assessments, peer evaluations, how to plan a
session, warm-up and cool down stages.
